Our love story began in September 2014 during Grade 12 chemistry class. We first got to know each other after our first chemistry test, meeting outside of school. That simple interaction sparked a connection that would shape the rest of our lives.

A week later, we went on our first date: bowling and pizza with Erfan’s sister, Yasmine, and her friends. That night, we laughed, bonded, and realized how natural it felt to be together. From then on, we were inseparable.

Now, 10 years later, our relationship has grown stronger through every challenge and milestone, from pursuing our dreams to sharing life’s adventures together, always supporting one another.

We like to joke about having “great chemicals”—a phrase lovingly coined by Melina’s mom, who always used it instead of “great chemistry.” It feels fitting, considering how our journey started.
